Marketing Manager (Austin, TX)

Job Description:

Marketing manager to drive wide variety of activities including marketing communications, interactive outreach, public relations, branding, and program launch activities for industry-driving trade association. Reports to Marketing Director.

Duties:

  • Lead market development activities including retail outreach, speakers bureau, and interactive marketing (web content, newsletters, industry blog, etc.)
  • Oversee primary market research/polling activities and market research assets
  • Support global PR program with positioning/messaging, press releases, media presentations, etc.
  • Support marketing task groups in development and launch of industry-wide testing and validation programs for variety of target markets and applications
  • Support member-driven and member-focused activities (member meetings and events) and marketing initiatives (program launches, trade shows, etc.)
  • Work with member company representatives to deepen participation and engage marketing and branding resources in WFA activities and identify opportunities for collaboration

Experience:

7-10 years directly-related experience including work in:

  • Product management and marketing
  • Branding
  • Marketing communications and market research
  • International experience a plus

Membership Manager (Austin, TX)

Job Description:

Membership manager for industry-driving high-tech global trade association. Drives global member acquisition, membership value management and member support activities. Reports to Marketing Director.

Duties:

  • Drive program enhancements and best practices to improve member satisfaction and retention
  • Design tactics to enhance member value proposition
  • Conduct strategic analysis of member and market opportunities worldwide
  • Report member acquisition and retention statistics, including design and analysis of annual member satisfaction survey
  • Oversee operational elements of membership function: member support, annual renewal campaign, policies and procedures
  • Support member-driven and member-focused activities (task groups, member meetings and events) and marketing initiatives (program launches, trade shows, etc.)
  • Work with member company representatives to deepen participation and engage marketing and branding resources in WFA activities
  • Identify, qualify, and recruit member companies worldwide

Experience:

7-10 years directly-related experience including work in:

  • Global customer acquisition, and account management
  • High-technology industry experience
  • Marketing communications (collateral, web, presentations, PR, etc.) and market research

Marketing Project Coordinator (Austin, TX)

Job Description:

Provide support to marketing and membership team. Candidate should be able to catch on quickly in a high-tech industry and be capable of working independently in a fun, fast-paced environment. Ideal candidate will exhibit initiative and flexibility. Projects will include event planning, brand defense, database administration and direct communications with member companies. Position reports to Marketing Director.

Duties:

  • Assist staff in database administration, member communications and other projects as needed
  • Reply to general inquiries and emails from the membership and general public
  • Post updates to our website
  • Assist in planning international events and meeting preparation
  • Assist in brand research, tracking and reporting brand violations
  • Collect information on industry trends
  • Special projects as assigned

Experience:

  • 2 years previous work experience including work in office environment
  • Must be skilled in Microsoft Office applications; experience with databases
  • Salesforce, HTML and web/IT skills are a plus
