Wi-Fi Alliance to accelerate access to 6 GHz with new services unit

Wi-Fi Alliance has established a Wi-Fi Alliance Services unit, to provide Automated Frequency Coordination (AFC) services in response to strong industry demand. The alliance said the new unit will serve a key role in accelerating broad access to standard power 6 GHz spectrum operation once approved for commercial operation by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and other national regulatory authorities.
