Austin, TX and Phoenix, AZ – February 21, 2024 – Wi-Fi Alliance Services, a trusted expert in AFC services and Hamina Wireless, a leader in wireless design and analysis solutions, are announcing a strategic technology partnership to accelerate deployment of standard power Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 solutions. The partnership will offer a streamlined user experience for designing, deploying, managing, and analyzing data for standard power 6 GHz networks.
Wi-Fi Alliance Services’ Wi-Fi AFC service together with Hamina Network Planner provides a complete solution for customers looking to deploy outdoor and standard power indoor 6 GHz Wi-Fi in a rapid, reliable, and cloud-based manner. The companies will provide two critical pieces for deploying standard power Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 networks: 3D network modeling tools to optimize AP placement and signal propagation and the AFC service that ensures protection of important incumbent operations while providing maximum permissible transmission power levels that are available for use by standard power Wi-Fi devices in the 6 GHz band.
